Lipology Clinic was founded by dermatologist Dr. Halk. She recognized that our treatments work best in a small-scale clinic with attention to each patient.

Drs. Anne Berthe Halk is the founder of Lipology Clinic. With her background in dermatology and her passion for aesthetics, she is an expert in both medical and cosmetic treatments of the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
Loek Habbema is a leading Dutch physician with more than 30 years of experience in cosmetic dermatology and surgery. He holds a leading position in the international world of cosmetic medicine.
Christiaan Bakker is an experienced dermatologist specialized in lipedema and lymphedema. He treats patients at Lipology Clinic and also works at the Dutch Center of Expertise for Lymphovascular Medicine (ECL) in Drachten.
Our clinic is fully specialized in liposuction, both cosmetically and for the treatment of lipedema. We always treat safely under local anesthesia.
Doctor Halk, the founder of Lipology Clinic, is an internationally recognized expert in these treatments. She was trained by one of the founders Drs. Loek Habbema. Among other things, she co-authored the national guideline on tumescent liposuction. She has also conducted research on the safety of liposuction techniques She is a member of the lipedema expert group of patients association NLNet and co-author of several lipedema guidelines and scientific publications.
